Good Morning Friends!
Happy Friday! I don’t know about you, but this week has seemed very long to me. One more day before a break. Today you are going to finish the last chapter of By the Great Horn Spoon. It makes me a bit sad that we are not doing that together today. Next week we will be reflecting on different parts of the book together though, I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Let me know if you have any questions. Remember I am here for you.
I also want to take a moment to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! to Amanda Z. We missed singing in class together today, but maybe we can each sing at home in honor of you. I hope you have a great day!
With Love,
Ms. Berdahl

- Read the new anthology story in your Journeys Textbook Lesson 15: Ecology for Kids pages 436-453
- Take the quiz for comprehension and vocabulary on Think Central on your Classlink App. You can use your book during the quiz.
- Write a weather Poem. Today you are going to take a break from your Aunt Arabella letters ( don’t worry, we will complete them next week) The directions are at the bottom of 458 in your anthology. I also posted one of my favorite weather poems for kids above by Shel Silverstine.

Write your poem on a blank google doc or piece of paper
Lastly, you need to share your poem with the class. I have left a spot in Google Classroom to post your poem.
- Read 20 mins for AR reading… yes, you can take AR tests;)
Math: On Fridays in class we take a break from our textbook work on our math skills in other ways.
- Answer the dealing with horses question in your Google Classroom.
- Optional: Look on the side of the Homework page on my class website. I have lots of buttons there. I have added a new button called MARVELOUS MATH. I have linked one of my favorite books for learning about multiplication and division. Check it out. It has lots of fun activities.
- Make sure to complete the division quiz in with 80% or better in Khan Academy. You can retake it;)

Music: Visit Mr.Klass’ website: https://musicklass.weebly.com/ and have them sing along with all of their grade level songs. The password to access the mp3s/PDFs is "Solfege" (Upper case "S", lower case "olfege"). Solfege is the set up syllables assigned to the notes of a scale in music (Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Ti-Do).

Hi 4th Grade! I hope this finds you healthy and happy!
We are fortunate to be provisioned a TYNKER account until May 30th.
There is no teacher due date nor any special order they need to be completed. These STEM Lessons are enrichment opportunities and I will periodically be assigning more.
I miss you, enjoy the lessons, enjoy your family and enjoy the outdoors too!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!
