Good Morning Friends! Happy Friday! I don’t know about you, but this week has seemed very long to me. One more day before a break. Today you are going to finish the last chapter of By the Great Horn Spoon. It makes me a bit sad that we are not doing that together today. Next week we will be reflecting on different parts of the book together though, I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Let me know if you have any questions. Remember I am here for you. I also want to take a moment to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! to Amanda Z. We missed singing in class together today, but maybe we can each sing at home in honor of you. I hope you have a great day! I have loved, loved all of the creativity you have shared on Flipgrid. I have frozen that topic, but don’t worry I will come back with another challenge later this morning. Remember it is still a school platform and anything that you share on there needs to be school appropriate. Thank you for being resilient learners as I give you so many new websites and links to figure out. Thank you to those of you who logged into Khan Academy yesterday and took the quiz 1. If you have not taken the quiz, make sure you do that today or if you got a score of 80% or below, I need you to re-watch the video and retake the quiz. Let me know if you have any questions. Stay safe and healthy! With Love, Ms.Berdahl Dear Parents, LCUSD will be closed from today, March 13 through Monday, March 23. The staff at PCR is on campus and working to put together enrichment activities for students to do at home. All materials will be ready for you to pick up in the classroom between 12:00 - 3:00. If you are unable to come during that time, please check in with the office after 3:00 to be given access to the classroom. We have posted a list of the books/materials on our classroom whiteboards. If your child needs other items from the classroom such as their pencil boxes, reading/library books, math spirals, headphones, etc., you may pick those items up, as well. Please remain flexible as we embark on this new territory. Beginning Tuesday, please reference teachers’ websites and Google Classroom for updates and new assignments. Please try your best to have your child stay indoors and away from large groups of people. We are in this together, and we will provide you with the support necessary to pull through these lessons and continue your child’s learning. Sincerely, The 4th Grade Team Read 20 mins
